What are STEVE's?
Forged from the far corners of mythos the Steves are a type of mythical spirit that are vital to the ecosystems in which they inhabit. Forged and overseen by pippin the guardian. She both helps in the creation and the protection of the Steve species. A reason for their elusive nature is due to their fragile body being made from majority glass which makes them naturally vulnerable to predators, even with the help of their companions. However, dense foliage and thriving plant life is a sign of their existence even in the snowiest of climates. Steve’s are partially glass (very rarely totally glass) beings in which contain a multitude of different materials within said glass. Despite their anxiety steves are naturally curious about the world around them and constantly are on the search for new creative materials in which to further their species with.

A steve is created when 2 steves donate some fur and glass to the guardian pippin along with a material of choice. This then generates a new steve through a sacred ritual. A steve can be generated only using 1 parent steve however the ritual is more successful when 2 steves are involved.

╰┈➤ ❝ Diet ❞

[C] Steves don't necessarily eat because they have to, they eat out of pleasure of doing so. They do however require sleep, a lot of it. This is due to the creation of companions among other things such as exploration & maintenance of the surrounding habitats in which they live demand a lot of energy. The steve’s however naturally work in groups to make this energy demand not quite as high.

Steves come in a variety of rarities and the rarer the steve the more energy they have / the more roles they have to do in order to benefit the forest. For example, common steves partake in small tasks such as the watering of plants or providing optimal temperatures for extremophile plants eg cacti whereas the rarer steves have larger roles in protection of creatures in seasons in which they are the most vulnerable, this being the winter months for most. However, in general all steves share responsibility to make their different habbitats safe and prosperous for all.

Steves also behave slightly differently depending on what their body contains for example, steves that contain live animals such as bugs or fish are naturally more affectionate towards wildlife, whereas steves containing food would naturally be more bouncy and energetic due to their high energy content.

[C] Steve can wear clothes and hats to help protect them further, however they usually gather these clothes from the environment. Such as straw hats or moss bandanas. Their Species in general are protected by Pippin so, in order to pay respect they try there best to mimic the naturalistic style of their clothes. Some Steve's however choose to upcycle manmade items such as glasses, capes etc basically Steve's scavenge for what they want.

Traits include: Various amounts of transparent glass filled with different liquids. A Steve may have multiple ears / tails however that is more uncommon. WINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Permanent artists are allowed to make and sell STEVE's from any rarity for as long as they wish to be part of the team, however, if they wish to make a STEVE to keep, they must purchase a myo, or buy one from a guest artist or another permanent artist.

Guest artists are allowed to make and sell STEVE's, but only common and uncommon, after a month they will no longer be allowed to make STEVE adopts, and sell it. Depending from that one month, i, Dino_duckie may promote them to permanent artist.
